You tell me you don‘t love me |
Appearance: Godot is a man of mildly intimidating presence. He stands at an even six feet with a strong build under his usual formalwear of dress shirts and vests. Being a middle aged man, he has a defined face. Strong cheekbones, strong jaw, a sharp nose and thin lips. His left ear is pierced twice with silver rings. But perhaps the most eyecatching thing in regards to his face is the visor. A requirement for his vision, unfortunately. His once-black hair now stands out as white and unruly. The bit of stubble closely trimmed at his chin, however, remains dark. His complexion appears tan and almost hispanic (given his former name is any indication). It's hard to imagine any subconsciousness in this man, with his shoulders always back, head high and posture perfect. Except of course, when hunched over a nice cup of liquid black magic. Personality: Godot could be described as cruel and unrelenting, but that would only be the case behind the prosecution bench. He comes off as cocky at times and mysterious at others. But when he's in a good mood, it seems contageous. When he's in a foul one, it's intimidating. His art of conversation is very personal and relatable, in that he can affect just about anyone with a few choice words. That's just what prosecutors do, isn't it? He has a love for coffee. Not just a love, a passion. If cut, he would likely bleed the bitter roast he cherishes. He has an average of seventeen cups of coffee per trial, but never more. There are also a plethora of his own personal blends he likes to bring up on occassion. He isn't partial to it cold, however. He also has a candid tendency to relate things to coffee. He'll strike up philosophical musings at inappropriate times that often don't seem to make much sense. But to those savvy of his ways (and his coffee fetish) these metaphors are often slightly clearer. He also likes to call women "kittens". Abilities/Strengths: Nothing unordinary, although his perception skills and logical reasoning skills are very high. He comes off very suave as well and shows true traits of a lawyer in the sense that he can convince people with relative ease. Weaknesses: He can't see the color red at all, and is legally blind without his visor. He has a tendency to rage at times, often slamming things (his coffee mug is a personal favorite) and has been known to even throw hot coffee at those he despises. |

History: Godot was once known as Diego Armando. And strangely enough, he was not on the Prosecution side of the courtroom back in those days. He was a Defense attorney, and a very good one at that. He worked under a man named Marvin Grossburg and above a very special lady Mia Faye. He thought little of her at first, but when they were paired together on very important case, he fell for her determination and unshakeable faith in her clients. They became very close. However, he was soon to meet his fate. He was poisoned by Dahlia Hawthorne and "died". This was the end of Diego Armando, and inevitably the birth of Godot. Due to medical advances, his life was prolonged during a five year coma. When he awoke, he didn't recognize himself. Not just because he couldn't see. His appearance had drastically changed. But that didn't depress him. Instead, his hopes of seeing Mia again drove him to optimism. This would prove to be a trying period, for as soon as he inquired, he was given the news of the recently deceased Mia Faye. Unable to comprehend the cruel twist of fate, he sought the source of her death and wished only for satisfaction. Claiming to be "back from Hell", he made his appearance in the courtroom. He was an experienced lawman, yet no one knew of his record and thus, he was dubbed a fresh blooded lawyer. Yet his skill was nothing to be undermined. His focus of hatred had shifted to Phoenix Wright, the man he had chosen to place the blame of Mia's death upon. But eventually, a series of events led to his downfall. In short, he killed someone to protect Mia's younger sister as if to repay the debt he owed from letting her die. He was arrested and sent to prison for first degree murder. During his time in prison, he lost his reasons to live. Mia was dead, his grudge with Phoenix was settled, and he had lost his freedom to be confined to a prison cell. He committed suicide soon after his imprisonment. To those curious, he poisoned his last cup of coffee. |
